Technical Services Lead

HelpSystems, a 7 time Start Tribune Top Workplace, is looking for a Technical Services Lead in our Ashland office. As Technical Services Lead, your primary responsibility will be to lead the technical services team members within the Managed File Transfer (MFT) group. Responsibilities include:
Acquiring and maintaining extensive technical knowledge of GoAnywhere and future products in the MFT group.
Providing coaching of the technical services staff.
Partnering with the sales team and business partners to advance sales opportunities
Conducting product training, demos and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to prospective customers, demonstrating how our products can solve their challenges and meet their unique needs.
Helping to determine the amount of training and consulting services that a customer needs to effectively implement our products. Work with the sales team to generate quotes and statements of work (SOWs) for these services.
Working with the marketing team to come up with new webinar topics and create presentation slides to support these webinars. These topics will include cybersecurity, data privacy regulations and managed file transfer.
Performing training for HelpSystems business partners so they can effectively provide technical services and support for our products to their customers.
Enhancing and refining our product certification tests, based on feedback from test results and employee feedback.
Providing feedback and enhancement requests to the R&D team on how to improve our product(s) to better serve our customers and expand market share.
Helping perform technical comparisons against our main competitor's products to build "battlecards" for our sales team.
Periodically attending and/or speaking at trade shows and other events on educational topics such as cyber security, privacy regulations and managed file transfer.
Attaining certification as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) within 12 months of employment start date. Maintaining CISSP certification while employed with HelpSystems by earning enough CPE credits each year.
Pursuing certifications in popular technologies which customers deploy our products to, or interface with, such as Amazon AWS or Azure.
Helping respond to PEN (penetration) testing results from our customers which may show potential vulnerabilities in our products.
Posting articles, tips and techniques on our knowledgebase as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
At least 8 years of experience in Information Technology
At least 5 years of experience in IT Security. CISSP certification preferred
Lead, supervisory or management experience
Excellent communication and customer service skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
